Yoga For Tight Pelvic Floor Muscles

This ten minute class is great to help release tight pelvic floor muscles. Practice these yoga poses to stretch your hips, thighs and lower back which helps to relax your pelvic floor and core.

Women are frequently told about the importance of strengthening the pelvic floor but for many women, the pelvic floor muscles are too tight, which can be the cause of symptoms such as pelvic pain, back pain and urgency to use the toilet. Just like all muscles in our body we need to be able to both strengthen and relax the muscles of the pelvic floor. When these pelvic floor stretches are performed regularly you’ll see a huge improvement in your symptoms.
